Ephodia Nyathi has more than 17 years of working experience as a pharmacist in different spheres of the pharmaceutical industry and has spent the last six years as a Pharmaceutical Policy Specialist at the National Department of Health.
Ephodia is responsible for the administration of transversal pharmaceutical tenders, ensuring that there is a security of medicine supply in the public sector. She is part of the unit that oversees the National Surveillance Centre, which is a web-based platform that visualizes medicine availability information from health facilities into one central point.
Ephodia has recently obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Economics and is applying the knowledge she gained during her studies in her day-to-day duties as a supplier contracting specialist.
