Dr Kamsaladevi Kumudini Naidoo

B. Pharm (UDW), MBL (UNISA), DBL (UNISA).

Dr KK Naidoo has extensive academic, leadership and management experience. She owned and managed a community pharmacy for approximately ten years and was also employed in the corporate environment as a Responsible Pharmacist. She has lectured to pharmacy students and MBA students and has also supervised and examined research projects at both the honours and master’s levels and co-supervised a Doctoral thesis. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed publications and presented at both national and international conferences. As a medical editor, she has, during the COVID-19 pandemic, edited more than 950 articles across a broad spectrum of medical disciplines and facilitated the publication of 11 articles in peer reviewed journals. She is currently the Branch Director of the Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa KwaZulu-Natal Coastal Branch and the South African Association of Community Pharmacists KwaZulu-Natal Coastal Branch and the Executive Director of two companies, one of which is a public benefit organization. She also serves as an evaluator for the South African Pharmacy Council.
