Dr Sarisha Singh is a clinical pharmacist at Frere Hospital. She obtained her BPharm and PharmD
degrees from Rhodes University. She conducted research on medication errors during her PharmD
programme and this sparked interest in the prevention and mitigation of these adverse events. She
serves as an evaluator for SAHPRA Pharmacovigilance Expert Committee and a secretary for the
Pharmaceutical Therapeutic Committee at Frere and Cecilia Makiwane Hospitals.
