Michelle Gijzelaar (BPharm) (MPharm) is the national clinical pharmacy manager for Life Healthcare. Her responsibilities include expanding and enhancing clinical pharmacy services and antimicrobial stewardship for the Life Healthcare group. She is the immediate ex-chairperson of the South African Society of Clinical Pharmacy and is an appointed member of the Ministerial Advisory Committee on Antimicrobial Resistance. Michelle serves as an external examiner and co-supervisor for clinical pharmacy MPharm candidates at SMU.
