Brent is a hospital pharmacist in the private sector.
Positions held in the past include SAAHIP (South African Association of Hospital and Institutional Pharmacists) CWP Vice-Chairman and Member of the Steering Committee of the PSSA YPG as the Project Coordinator.
He currently serves as the Chairman of the CWP branch of SAAHIP in his second term.
He is a member of the National Executive Committee of the PSSA (Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa).
His pharmaceutical passion lies in pharmaceutical digitalisation which led him to present on the topic at the PSSA conference in 2022.
He also serves on the FIP TAG (Technical Advisory Group) AI (Artificial Intelligence) Working Group.
